Our Story Begins
Founded on a Smarter Way to Build
Wisconsin Homes was established in 1965 by Norman and Roland Frey and John Bertschie, industry leaders who believed homes could be built better, faster and with greater structural integrity. Their approach to modular construction set a new benchmark, one that still guides us today.
A Reputation Built Across the Midwest
By the early 1990s, our production nearly doubled—from about 300 homes per year to 600 homes—reflecting rising demand and strong builder partnerships.
In 1995, Wisconsin Homes was honored as the Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce Firm of the Year, a testament to our craftsmanship and customer-first approach.
