Step 2: Choose and Customize Your Floorplan

Your land plays a big role in the design process.

We’ll talk through:

• Lot size and shape
• Home orientation and natural light
• Views (lakes, woods, open landscapes)
• Access, setbacks and site conditions

Understanding your building site early helps ensure the home you design fits beautifully—and efficiently—on your property.

Step 3: Choose and Customize Your Floorplan

Our standard floor plans are meant to be a starting point, not a limitation. Once you find a general layout or style you like, we’ll help you customize it to match your lifestyle.

Walls can be moved. Rooms can be added or removed. Features are often mixed and matched between floor plans to create a layout that feels just right. And remember—our modular homes are built to the same (or higher) building codes as site-built.

Step 5: Finalize Colors and Design Details

Once your selections are complete:

• Your design is finalized
• Your pricing is locked in
• You’re officially done with the design phase

Everything is documented and ready to move forward.

Step 6: Order Your Home

Now it’s time to relax.

Once your home is ordered:

• Your home is built in our climate-controlled factory
• Quality checks happen throughout the build
• Your on-site work and factory construction can happen simultaneously

• Faster move-in compared to traditional site-built homes

Step 7: Schedule Home Setup

When your home is complete:

• Your local builder is notified
• A setup date is scheduled
• The home sections are delivered and set on the foundation
• Sections are joined, and final details are completed
